Mt.Kawanori-yama(川苔山)

Mt.Kawanori-yama(川苔山) is a 1,363.3 meters high mountain located in Okutama area Tokyo.
It is a very popular mountain for the day hiking.
The popular trailhead is Kawanori-bashi(川乗橋) bus stop that go by bus from Okutama Station(奥多摩駅).
Approximate hiking time is 3 hours and 40 minutes from Kawanori Bridge to the summit.

You can also climb on foot from Hatonosu Station(鳩ノ巣駅) or Kori Station(古里駅).
The approximate hiking time to the summit is 3 hours and 15 minutes from Hatonosu Station, 3 hours 45 minutes from Kori Station.

It is very comfortable cource that from Kawanori Bridge to Hyakuhiro Waterfall(百尋の滝).

At Okutama Station(奥多摩駅),take a bus bound for “Higashi-Nichihara(東日原)”, and get off at Kawanori-bashi(川乗橋) bus stop.
