Mt.Mitake-san(御岳山)

Mt. Mitake-san(御岳山) is a 929-meter-high mountain located in Ome City, Tokyo.
It has long been an object of mountain worship, and the Musashi Ontake Shrine has been erected on the mountain, and if you are lucky, you can see Shinto waterfalls along the hiking trail.
Access to Mt. Otake, get on the bus from JR Mitake station(御嶽駅 Mitake-eki), get off at the cable car Takimoto station(滝本駅 Takimoto-eki), change to the cable car and get off at Mitakeyama station(御岳山駅 Mitakeyama-eki).

2. 【Return】Mitakesan Sta.(御岳山駅) → Takimoto Sta.(滝本駅) → Mitake Sta.(御嶽駅)

1.【Go】Mitake Sta.(御嶽駅) → Takimoto Sta.(滝本駅) → Mitakesan Sta.(御岳山駅)

a. Walk to the Mitake Ekimae bus stop on the east side of JR Mitake Station. Take the West Tokyo bus (#10,#11) and get off at the cable car station of “Cable-shita” as same place as Takimoto station(滝本駅).

b. From the cable under (滝本駅 Takimoto station) to the cable top(御岳山駅 Mitake-san station).
Time: 6 minutes
Fare : JPY600

a. From the cable Mitakesan Sta.(御岳山駅 Mitake-san eki) to the cable Takimoto Sta.(滝本駅 Takimoto-eki).
Time: 6minutes

b. Take the cable car at Mitakesan station(御岳山駅), and get off at Takimoto station(滝本駅).And take the bus to JR Mitake Station.

Fare : JPY600
